Step 1 of 12
Heidelberg security system — site details required
📱 Best filled out on your phone so you can take photos as you walk around the site.

As you're aware, fuel theft is an increasing issue across many sites. Bravis has developed a system specifically with Heidelberg in mind — it detects when a fuel pump handle is picked up and triggers an alarm immediately.

The system connects to your existing alarm and switches on and off automatically with your site. It covers fuel pumps, gates, padlocks, entry points, and more — all wireless, no cables needed.

Fill out the form below and we'll come back to you with a tailored solution and estimated cost.

Step 2 of 12
Do you have a site alarm?
The new Bravis system connects to your existing alarm system to arm and disarm along with it. If you don't have one, we'll include a standalone alarm panel in the quote.
Yes, we have an alarm
We'll connect the Bravis system to it
This is the connection point we use to link to your existing system. If you're not sure, ask your alarm company — or leave it blank and we'll sort it out with them directly.
Yes, it does
No / not sure
Ask your alarm company, or we can contact them for you
Leave blank and upload a photo of the panel if you're not sure.
Upload a photo of your alarm panel (optional)
No, we don't have an alarm
We'll include an alarm kit in your quote — $1,434.20
No problem — we'll include a Bravis alarm panel in your quote. It's a standalone unit that controls the whole system.
Step 3 of 12
Perimeter intrusion detection — gates
By monitoring your gates we can determine if the gate is open or closed. If the gate opens while the alarm is armed, this will trigger the alarm system. Works on all gate types — padlocked, chained, or uneven gates that don't close flat.
Gate sensor
$406.00 per gate
Padlocked gate
One wireless sensor per gate. Detects if the gate is opened and triggers the alarm immediately. No cables, no drilling. Can communicate back to the BASE from up to 1km away in open areas.

How the DEFENDER works
Before we get into padlocks and fuel pumps, here's a quick explanation of a key part of the system.

The DEFENDER — the bells and whistles

This unit will flash lights and make loud noises when an alarm is triggered. It is a wireless unit and can run on solar, or from a power source if one is available. A DEFENDER is required if you want: a siren and flashing strobe (up to 1km line of sight to the BASE unit), a padlock vibration sensor (within 50m of this DEFENDER), or a fuel pump handle sensor (within 50m of this DEFENDER).

DEFENDER hub unit pump sensor pump sensor gate sensor padlock sensor 50m coverage radius

Padlock sensors and fuel pump sensors both need to be within 50m of a DEFENDER to work. If everything is close together, one unit covers the lot. If they're spread out across the site, you'll need one DEFENDER per cluster.

Note: Gate sensors are different — they communicate directly back to the BASE unit over up to 1km and don't need a DEFENDER at all.

Step 5 of 12
Padlock monitoring
If your gates or storage areas use padlocks, we can add monitoring to the alarm system. A vibration sensor attaches to the lock and detects any tampering while the site is armed.
Padlock sensor
$65.25 per padlock
Padlock sensor
A small wireless vibration sensor is attached to the padlock. If the lock is touched or tampered with while the system is armed, the alarm will activate — triggering before anyone has the opportunity to cut or pick the lock. Must be within 50m of a DEFENDER.

Step 6 of 12
Fuel pump monitoring
If your site stores fuel and has a pump handle, we can monitor it with a vibration sensor. Any movement of the handle while the system is armed will trigger the alarm.
Pump handle sensor (B-TAG)
$65.25 per handle
Sensor on fuel pump handle
A small wireless vibration sensor is attached to the pump handle. If it is lifted or tampered with while the system is armed, the alarm will activate immediately. One sensor per pump handle. Must be within 50m of a DEFENDER.

Step 7 of 12
How many DEFENDER units do you need?
Each DEFENDER unit can cover a 50m area. A gate sensor and a padlock sensor can be covered by the same DEFENDER unit. With that in mind, how many DEFENDER units are required for your site?
DEFENDER — area hub unit
$1,015.00 per area
DEFENDER unit mounted on wall
Solar-powered siren, strobe, and sensor hub. Mounts on a wall or post. Each DEFENDER can be up to 1km away from the BASE unit (typically located in the main office).
If all your padlocks and fuel pumps are within 50m of each other, you'll likely only need one. If they're spread out across the site, count the number of separate clusters.

Step 8 of 12
Motion sensor
A motion sensor detects if someone walks through an area while your site is armed — the same type used inside most buildings, but rated for outdoor use too.
Motion sensor (PIR)
$761.00 each
Motion sensor mounted in shed
Detects movement and triggers the alarm. Mounts on a wall or post at 2.5–3m height. Good for sheds, workshops, covered areas, and outdoor perimeters.
Detection range
9 metres
Detection angle
85°
Wireless range
1–2km open, ~500m with obstacles
Weather rating
IP55 — rain & dust proof
Mount height
2.5m – 3m
Placement
Indoor or outdoor
Can be used outdoors, but note that animals — kangaroos, cattle, emus — can trigger it. If your site has a lot of wildlife moving through at night, a beam sensor (next step) may be a better fit for open areas. Mention it in the notes at the end and we'll advise.

Step 9 of 12
Beam sensor
A beam sensor creates an invisible line across a driveway, road, or entrance. If a vehicle or person crosses that line while the site is armed, the alarm goes off.
Beam sensor (PE beam)
From $1,094 per beam
PE beam across entrance
Two posts on either side of the crossing point shoot an invisible beam between them. When anything breaks the beam, the alarm triggers. Works in all weather, day or night.
Wireless range
1–2km open, ~500m with obstacles
Weather rating
Outdoor rated
Large animals — kangaroos, cattle, emus — can trigger this sensor. If your site has significant wildlife movement, mention it in the notes at the end so we can advise on sensitivity settings.
The size is the gap between the two posts — roughly the width of your driveway or entrance. Not sure? Give us your best guess and we can adjust.

Step 10 of 12
Door monitoring
We can put a small sensor on any internal door to detect if it's been opened while the site is armed — offices, sheds, storage rooms, or any internal access point you want to keep an eye on.
Door sensor
$261.00 per door
Door sensor on frame
A small two-piece magnetic sensor — one piece on the door, one on the frame. When the door opens, the alarm triggers. Sticks on with adhesive tape, no drilling required. One per door.
